Welcome! St. Victor Parish promotes Christian love, participation, and unity among its diverse members around the sacred celebration of the Most Holy Eucharist.
St. Victor Church was established as a Roman Catholic parish serving West Hollywood in 1906. Today the parish is in the heart of a busy and heavily populated metropolis. Located at 8634 Holloway Drive. One and a half blocks west of La Cienega and one and one half blocks east of Sunset. Parish Office phone number: 310.652.6477
Why are we Catholic? Christ and his Church are inseparable. "It is not possible to love Christ but without the Church, to listen to Christ but not the Church, to belong to Christ but outside the Church. For the Church is herself God's great family, which brings Christ to us." - Pope Francis (Jan. 1, 2015). As disciples of Jesus Christ, we seek to follow the Lord and live the good news – the gospel – according to our Catholic tradition. We welcome all of God's children, regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, gender, socio-economic class or sexual orientation. We believe in the saving power of the gospel to transform our lives and society around us, even in the most cosmopolitan of settings. We are a city on a hill. We are the light of the world. We are the salt of the earth.
We are located in West Hollywood and serve residents of that city and the surrounding areas of Los Angeles. We are pleased to offer reverent and solemn liturgies complemented by outstanding sacred music. Nourished and strengthened by the Eucharist and the gospel, we seek to love and serve others as Jesus has commanded us to do.
We invite you to join us in our worship and service to God and neighbor, especially those estranged from the Church or living on the margins of society. All are welcome at St. Victor’s.
