On Wednesday, February 8, Pope Francis issued an appeal for help for all those affected by the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria as the death toll soars. “With emotion I pray for them, and express my closeness to these peoples, the families of the victims and to all those who are suffering from this devastating calamity”. He is urging everyone to show solidarity with these territories.
In solidarity with our suffering brothers and sisters, Archbishop Gomez asks you to prayerfully consider a donation to help our brothers and sisters in need. As Pope Francis said on February 8 in his general audience, “Let us pray together so that these our brothers and sisters can go fourth in the face of tragedy, and let us ask Our Lady to protect them. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us and them."
